Physics Association

Overview

Physics association is working to boost and circulate the knowledge of Physics. Since its inception, various events such as quiz competition, paper presentation, poster competition, workshops, seminars, etc have been organized by Physics Association, Akal University, Talwandi Sabo. Additionally, Physics Association is also working to promote quality of science education at school levels by organizing various training workshops for school teachers. The major objectives of Physics Association are as follows:

• To initiate expert lecture series to promote research in the Department.
• To arrange inter-university scientific discussion activities such as quiz competition, paper presentation, poster competition etc.
• To initiate student seminar series for promotion of understanding and awareness of science.
• To organize national level conferences, workshops and seminars.
• To arrange industrial as well as research lab visits of our PG students.
• To arrange summer/winter training programs for PG students.
• To initiate research collaborations with other national and international laboratories/institutes.
