Zoological Society

Overview

The Akal Zoological Society of the university facilitate the students in stimulating innovative ideas and developing organizational skills. The society is commited to raise awareness in students about the conservation of biodiversity. The society remains active throughout the year in organizing competitions, conferences, seminars and workshops for students.
The major objectives of Akal Zoological Society are as under:

• To arrange expert lectures for students from eminent scientists and workers of the field.
• To organize student presentations on various zoological aspects.
• To arrange student visits to Research laboratories, Museums and wildlife conservation parks.
• To establish and maintain Biological museum in the department.
• To motivate students to conserve the Biodiversity and its role in ecological balance
