Akal University understands and demonstrates its fundamental understanding while organizing a webinar on the benefits of I-STEM (Indian Science Technology and Engineering Facilities Map).
This exceptional initiative is headed by the esteemed Center for Green Chemistry at Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda.

I-STEM: Bridging the Gaps, Igniting Innovation

I-STEM is a national web portal developed with the “One National One Portal” concept to connect researchers and resources seamlessly. It is aimed at the development of the scientific and technological community. I-STEM is funded by the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor (OPSA) under the Government of India.
Akal University’s Center for Green Chemistry is hosting this webinar to hone scientific and technological advancements for the students.

Topic 1: I-STEM Benefits for Academia, Industry, and Start-Ups

In the first segment of the webinar, participants will delve into the profound advantages that I-STEM brings to the table for academia, industry, and start-ups. The esteemed personality of this field will take the session, Dr. S. Senthilmurugan (B.E., M.E., Ph.D.), Technology Manager-I-STEM.
The webinar will elucidate how Startups, Industry players, and academia can usefully harness I-STEM, for enhanced research capabilities and accelerated scientific progress and development, in their relevant areas.

Topic 2: Facilities Available Through I-STEM and Q&A Session

The second segment of the webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the diverse facilities available through the I-STEM platform. It will be handled by Ms. Pooja Punetha, Facility Technologist, I-STEM.
This is an excellent opportunity for the attendees to gain insight into the accessibility of these facilities, their scope, and their potential impact.

To encourage a more profound understanding, the event will include a dynamic Q&A session where participants can engage with experts, which will broaden their horizons.
