Le Economiste

Overview

The Department of Economics created the club and started it with an Economics Fest “Le Economiste” on 28th February, 2019.

About the Fest

The Fest constituted of Debate on “Rural-Urban Migration”. The Fest was inaugurated by Prof. M.S. Johal, Dean Academic Affairs, Akal University. Besides the students from various departments of Akal University, students from other 7 different colleges in Bathinda and Mansa participated in the Fest. Students participated in Economics Quiz and social advertising competitions. The fest provided a good learning platform to the young students and was appreciated by the outside students. First three teams in each competition were awarded with certificates and medals.
