Launch of Viksit Bharat@2047 Campaign by the Honorable Prime Minister of India
The launch of this visionary campaign aims to make India a developed nation by 2047, celebrating the 100th year of independence. The development drive coincides with various dimensions, such as economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance. The Honorable Prime Minister of India launched the Viksit Bharat Campaign on the 11th of December while addressing the faculty members of universities and colleges. During this address, live participation was mandatory from identified locations because the purpose and aim of the scheme were revealed in the live address.
What Does Viksit Bharat Campaign Offer
Visit Bharat is a pan-India campaign that seeks to hear creative, innovative developmental ideas from the youth voices. Akal University has appointed teams from NSS and NCC wings to promote, organize, and disseminate information regarding the activities they have to perform. The university’s ICT labs and library premises work as Viksit Bharat Ideation Centre to ease participation.
Webinar on Viksit Bharat@2047: Echoes of the Youth
On the 18th of January 2024, Retired IAS Officer S.K Dwivedi shared his insight regarding the Viksit Bharat campaign. Mr. Dwivedi was serving in Rudraprayag District in Uttarakhand. All the students, as well as those who are preparing for UPSC, joined the webinar to seek guidance. He discussed Amrit Kaal’s Vision 2047 of India and making India a $30 trillion economy till 2047. He elaborated on the indispensable role of youth in making India a developed economy. Mr. Dwivedi discussed the incredible achievements of 2023 in space, power, economy, and other sectors. India is diligently working hard to make itself a developed nation.
