Akal University’s Commitment to Hands-On Learning and Industry Collaboration

Akal University recently organized its 2nd Convocation Ceremony, where 362 students were honored with Ph.D., post-graduation, and graduate degrees.
During the convocation ceremony, Dr. Davinder Singh Ji, the Chancellor of the University, and Dr. Gurmail Singh Ji, the Vice Chancellor of the University, spoke about the importance of innovation and collaboration in technical education. They stressed that collaboration between universities and industry leaders is crucial in keeping university programs current and preparing students to tackle future challenges and opportunities.
The convocation ceremony brought joy to all those who had diligently earned their degrees and certificates. The event was made even more special by the presence of notable industry experts Jogendra Singh, Harinderjit Singh, and Rtn—Manpreet Singh, who graced the ceremony with their presence as guests of honors

Industry Leaders Shaping Akal University’s Technical Education Program
The new advisors are Rtn. Manpreet Singh, Jogendra Singh, and Harinderjit Singh. They are determined to make a difference in technical education programs and guide students toward success.
They are renowned for their expertise and will offer invaluable knowledge and proficiency in their specialized fields.
Rtn Manpreet Singh is currently President of the Indian Chamber of International Business. As the Ambassador to Indian Knowledge Systems, AICTE, Ministry of Education, Govt of India, his long years of experience is invaluable. He is also a Graduate from IIM Bangalore.
Jogendra Singh currently serves as President ( Finance) at Hero Corporate Service P Ltd. He has over 2 decades of experience. He is a C.A. from ICAI

Harinderjit Singh is a recognized C.A. by profession and is Retired as a Senior Partner at Price Waterhouse CA LLP. He served Price Waterhouse CA LLP for more than 32 years.

Advisors to Make a Difference in Technical Education Programs
Innovation and collaboration are critical factors in ensuring that technical education programs remain relevant and practical.
These advisors will play a crucial role in setting the curriculum and direction of technical education programs. They will offer invaluable critical insights to ensure the programs are relevant to industry needs and the current job market.
Furthermore, the advisors will also ensure the students are job ready. They will conduct one-on-one, mock, and mentorship programs to prepare students to crack the interview, be more industry-specific, and get hired by a good company.
Fostering Creativity and Inspiring Change:
The advisors will also help the University adopt cutting-edge programs that prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of the future. They also assist in identifying new trends and areas of growth. These three advisors will create a dynamic environment and forward-thinking technical education program to foster creativity and inspire change.
As a result of this collaboration, students will be more engaged, creating more job opportunities. Employers will be more eager to hire as the students will have the skills and mindset needed to succeed in the job market.
Volunteering Change:
We at Akal University are also looking to create an International Technical Advisors Team to provide students with the knowledge and skill set to succeed and create more opportunities for them.
