Chemical Science Society is a social set-up and run by student elected representatives who share a common interest. The function of the society is to provide a common platform for all the students to showcase their extracurricular talents at the university level. Students play the main role to organize various social events running throughout the year, from poster-making, essay writing to the much-appreciated quizzes. Nevertheless, as an academic society, it also sensitizes scientific awareness through Intra department weekly seminars and annual university scientific events
To communicate scientific ideas, arguments and practical experiences accurately in a variety of ways.
To develop among the students an attitude and value of honesty and respect for themselves, others, and their shared environment.
To provide a platform for students to display their knowledge and skills, think analytically, critically and creatively to solve problems, judge arguments and make decisions in scientific and other contexts through quiz, declamation and debate competition.
To encourage students to display their creativity through various scientific activities like poster-making competition, collage-making competition, making things out of waste competition, model making competition etc.
