The program aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of women’s empowerment, inclusive education, and social responsibility. Around 75 participants, including students and faculty members, attended the session, making it an engaging and meaningful academic event.
Warm Welcome and Introduction to the Theme
The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Mudasir Amin, who warmly greeted the distinguished guest, faculty members, and students.
During his address, he highlighted the global significance of International Women’s Day, which is celebrated worldwide to recognize the achievements and contributions of women across different fields.
He explained the key idea behind the event’s theme by emphasizing that:

Inspiring Keynote Address by Dr. Manjeet Kaur
The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Manjeet Kaur, Principal of JD College of Education, Muktsar Sahib. She delivered a highly motivational and thought-provoking talk on women’s empowerment and personal development.
In her address, she spoke about the multiple roles women play in society as responsible daughters, wives, mothers, and citizens. She emphasized the importance of moral values, good manners, and etiquette in shaping strong personalities.
Dr. Kaur encouraged students to focus on:

According to her, true success in life begins with strong moral values, and such success eventually leads to achievements in worldly pursuits.
