Recently, one of our fellow MBA students, Komal Rani, discovered something truly exciting – our professor Prof. Somendra Pant is also the author of a poetry book!
She discovered the book titled “Tapestry of Mystery: Poetry Inspired by J. Krishnamurti”, available on Amazon.
What made the special moment even more special was when she received a copy of the book directly from him.

When Your Professor Turns Out to Be a deep Poet and Philosopher

The book explores life’s deepest questions through poetry, touching on themes like awareness, simplicity, love, life, and death.
Inspired by the philosophy of J. Krishnamurti, the poems encourage readers to observe themselves, think freely, and reflect beyond everyday routines.

“Life is a rich tapestry of mystery.”
– is what Prof Pant writes in the preface, and this phrase resonates with many of us.
It also captures what learning at Akal Business School often feels like – interesting, meaningful, reflective, and not limited to classrooms or coursework.
