Tech Lumina 2025 – Theme: AI and Sustainability
On the occasion of Engineer’s Day, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, organised Tech Lumina 2025—
a two-day celebration held on 24–25 September 2025 with the theme “AI and Sustainability.”
The event aimed to commemorate the invaluable contributions of engineers to society while inspiring students to explore innovative, sustainable solutions through emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence.
It provided students with a vibrant platform to showcase their skills, creativity, and critical thinking abilities.
Student Participation
The celebration was held in the Seminar Hall and witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 students across diverse disciplines including Computer Science, English, Economics, Psychology, Commerce, and Mathematics. Through competitions, interactive sessions, and team-based activities, students were encouraged to enhance both their technical expertise and soft skills.

The event was graced by Dr. G.S. Lamba (Dean Academic Affairs), Dr. Sukhjeet Singh (Director IQAC), and Dr. Janpreet Singh
(Dean Student Welfare), who applauded the students for their energy, creativity, and commitment. They further encouraged them to continue participating in future academic and co-curricular activities.
