These talented young players made their mark at the 10th Punjab State Senior Gatka Championship 2025, held at the historic Todarmal Diwan Hall, Shri Fatehgarh Sahib.
About the Punjab State Senior Gatka Championship 2025
The Championship was organized by the Punjab Gatka Association, affiliated with the Punjab State Sports Council, the Punjab Olympics Association, and the Gatka Federation of India. The event was conducted under the able guidance of Baljinder Singh Toor, General Secretary, Punjab Gatka Association.

In the highly competitive Under-19 category, Akal University’s Gatka team displayed courage, discipline, and mastery over this traditional Sikh martial art. Their exceptional performance earned them the Second Position at the state level, a significant milestone in the University’s journey of promoting indigenous art forms and cultural heritage.
