On 5 June, people across the globe join hands to observe World Environment Day. Every year a different environmentally relevant theme is selected to mark the observance of this. Akal University enthusiastically celebrated the occasion aligning with the theme of “Putting an End to Plastic Pollution”. This year’s theme also complements UNEP’s #Beat Plastic Pollution movement.
The Environment Day celebration at our university featured an insightful lecture by Mr. Muzzamil Khan, Executive Trainer at the Centre for Competitive Examination. With a simple but profound approach, his lecture attracted the attention of young minds through visuals, discussions, and a pledge for change.
