Though CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President of the esteemed ICAI, delivered a futuristic lecture about the ever-changing world of chartered accounting, the true highlight of the event was the formal launch of students’ products, Snagsakhi and Khaoware.
Empowering Launch of Innovative Products
Akal Incubation Centre (AIC) has announced its inaugural student-led innovation by launching the following two products-
Snagsakhi – A Hug of Comfort for Difficult Times
Snagsakhi, founded by Ms. Rajveer Kaur and Mr. Puneet Singla and presented by Ms. Chitrakshi, is more than a product; it is a companion for millions of women suffering from period cramps.
The plushie, which includes therapeutic components such as heat and vibration, offers an all-in-one solution for pain and mental anguish. Snagsakhi, which is small, rechargeable, and travel-sized, stands apart from standard solutions because of its appearance and concept: “A warm hug for your difficult days.” Inspired by Mr. Jatinder Singh Rajput’s supervision, this invention not only demonstrates technological innovation but also the student innovators’ awareness and compassion for women’s health and welfare.
Khaoware – Innovation Blends with Every Bite
Khaoware redefines disposable cutlery, setting a new standard for sustainability. This edible tableware, created by Ms. Navneet Gill with help from Ms. Rinku Rajput, offers a practical solution to plastic pollution. With the motto “Not just tableware, it’s Khaoware—grab it, use it, and chew it,” the product presents biodegradable, edible, and robust cutlery. Khaoware’s eight tastes blend environmental awareness with everyday practicality, making sustainability accessible and tasty.

Our Akal Incubation Cell ensures that the students provide an ideal platform where their creative ideas can potentially grow and bring transformative innovation to the ground.
