Expert Session on Female Health – Empowering Women Through Awareness

The Red Ribbon Club, in collaboration with the Department of Physiotherapy, hosted an insightful session on Female Health under the UGC Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan.
Dr. Babita Bansal, Consultant Gynecologist at Raj Nursing Home, Talwandi Sabo, guided students through important topics such as menstrual hygiene, PCOS & PCOD, diet, nutrition, and cervical cancer awareness, emphasizing preventive healthcare and self-care.

Mental Health Awareness Week – Prioritizing Emotional Well-being

In todayโ€™s fast-paced world, mental wellness is often neglected. To address this, Akal University celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week, offering open discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions on stress management, emotional resilience, and mental wellness.

Manak Carnival – Inspiring Innovation and Creativity

Akal University proudly participated in the Manak Carnival organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Haryana Branch Office, in collaboration with Satluj Public School, Ellenabad.

Renowned academicians from the Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow, including Ms. Daria Scheglova and Ms. Anna Garmonova, discussed educational policy, faculty development, and professional well-beingโ€”broadening studentsโ€™ global perspective on education.

Industrial Visit – Experiential Learning at Amul Plant

To bridge theory with real-world practice, Akal Business School organized an Industrial Visit to the Amul Plant, Khamanon, Punjab.
Led by Syed Owais Khursheed, along with Dr. Rupinder Kaur and Dr. Ayash Manzoor, 43 BBA and MBA students explored supply chain systems, industrial operations, and quality management, gaining hands-on exposure to Indiaโ€™s leading dairy cooperative.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering participated in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) at Eternal University, Baru Sahib, presenting six innovative projects addressing challenges in agriculture, education, and the environment.
Guided by Dr. Upinder Kaur, 33 students showcased remarkable creativity and technical acumen, earning appreciation for their originality and practical solutions.

Cleanliness Drive 5.0 – Spreading the Message of Swachh Bharat

As part of the Special Campaign 5.0 initiated by the Ministry of Education, the Department of Education organized a Cleanliness Drive with enthusiastic participation from faculty and students.


They cleaned campus surroundings, raised awareness about hygiene, and promoted the message of โ€œCleanliness is Next to Godlinessโ€, aligning with the Swachh Bharat Mission.
