Serving Humanity First – AIDS Awareness & Free Health Checkup Camp
True education begins with care for society.

On 4th December, Akal University organized an AIDS Awareness and Free Health Checkup Camp under the Red Ribbon Club and the Department of Physiotherapy, in collaboration with Max Hospital, Bathinda.
The initiative combined knowledge with action:-
• Dr. Pooja Gupta, MD (Microbiology) and Infection Control Officer, Max Hospital, led an enlightening awareness session on HIV/AIDS and preventive healthcare.
• A free health checkup camp, guided by Dr. Hunal Uppal, ensured accessible medical screening for students and staff.
An important initiative that reinforced the message that health awareness is social responsibility.
Academic Excellence on a Global Platform – Akal Business School Shines Internationally
Knowledge found its voice on an international stage as MBA Final Year students from Akal Business School participated in the prestigious SIAI–ISEG: 3Ps–2025 International Conference held at Eternal University, Baru Sahib (6–7 December).
• Eight students presented their research across key global themes.
• A moment of immense pride came when Harleen Kaur secured 1st Position, standing out among participants from various institutions.

Learning from the Real World – Expert Session on Analytics & Decision-Making
Bridging classrooms with corporate realities, Akal University hosted an expert session titled “The Role of Analytics in the Real World”, chaired by Mr. Harinderjit Singh, former Assurance Partner at the PwC Network.

Students gained real world insights on:-
• Insights into real-world applications of data analytics.
• Practical understanding of data-driven business decisions.
• Inspiration to think analytically and strategically.
The session sparked curiosity and confidence among aspiring professionals.
Research at the National Frontier – DAE Symposium on Nuclear Physics
Seven students from the Department of Physics stepped onto a National Research Platform by presenting their work at the DAE Symposium on Nuclear Physics, held from 8–12 December at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar.

Guided by academic rigor and curiosity, the students engaged with scientists from across India, discovering new perspectives in nuclear physics. The experience deepened their passion for research and innovation.
Shaping Futures – Career Guidance That Builds Confidence
Under the mentorship of Prof. Somendra Pant, MBA students participated in an insightful Career Guidance Session led by Dr. Harmeet Singh.

The session focused on:-
• Industry expectations.
• Skill development.
• Professional readiness and personality enhancement.

National Glory Through Tradition – Gold at the National Senior Gatka Championship 2025
December concluded with pride and applause as Akal University students excelled at the 9th National Senior Gatka Championship 2025, held in New Chandigarh and dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

• Hushanpreet & Rupinder – Gold in Under-19 Demo Category.
