Akal University, in collaboration with Eternal University and the Punjab Academy of Sciences, proudly hosted the International Conference on Sustainable Development in Chemical Sciences (ICSDCS-2025) from 20th to 22nd August 2025. The event brought together 169 participants from across the world, making it a true global platform for advancing knowledge and innovation in chemical sciences.

- Professor N.R. Dhamiwal, Secretary, Punjab Academy of Sciences, underlined the importance of sustainable development in chemistry to overcome environmental issues.
- Prof. KK Bhasin, NASI-Senior Scientist and Emeritus Professor, Punjab University, appreciated Akal University for its remarkable contribution to sustainable research.
- Shri Debashish Nath (INST Mohali) was honored with the Young Scientist Award for his outstanding presentation.
