In response to this growing concern, Akal University’s NSS Cell, in collaboration with the Eco Club, organized a vibrant and educational Poster Presentation Event on the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution.”
Held with the aim of sparking meaningful dialogue and action, the event brought together students from across departments who used art and creativity as a medium to express powerful messages on sustainability.
Objectives of the Beat Plastic Pollution Event
- To raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment and human health.
- To encourage students to creatively express solutions to reduce plastic usage.
- To promote sustainable practices such as recycling, reusing, and refusing single-use plastics.
- To instill a sense of environmental responsibility among the youth.
